About me
Katelynn Brown: Former classroom teacher (grades 2nd, 3rd,4th), GLAD coach, EL Lead (MS/ES), Sheltered Instruction Coach. BA: International Politics, Master's Degree in Teaching. Multiple teaching abroad experiences coupled with 11 years teaching in Washington state have broadened my teaching lens, especially as it pertains quality sheltered instruction. There is a desperate need to address and change the disproportionality of ELs identified as SpEd. I am also a passionate advocate for identifying ELs for the Highly Capable program.
