About me
I currently serve as the Chief Academic Officer at Summit K-12. I am a dedicated educator with a reputation for promoting equitable outcomes and instigating transformative change within the K-12 education sector. Throughout my career, I have been unwavering in my commitment to translating research into tangible policies and practices, with a particular focus on advancing literacy development among linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse students. My passion for ensuring that all students have an equal opportunity to excel in education has been the guiding principle behind my work. Previously, I led a district-wide implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework, a testament to my unwavering dedication to systemic improvement. My goal has consistently been to respond to the diverse needs of students and positively impact their learning outcomes. I have served as a consultant nationally. I have provided professional development and support to schools, districts, national organizations, and state Departments of Education. My aim is to embody the essence of an education professional who is committed to making education more equitable and accessible for all.
