About me
Dr. Jeannette (Gina) Long has been in education for 29 years holding roles as teacher, school administrator, and district administrator. She is currently an Academic Officer for Teacher Created Materials. Drawing from her background as an English language learner and Multilingual Educator and Coordinator, Dr. Long gained insight into effective teaching approaches and learning strategies for ELs.
Dr. Long earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida, a master’s degree in Integration of Technology into the Classroom from Walden University, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education, and a doctorate degree in Post-Secondary and Adult Education from Capella University. Dr. Long’s notable achievements include being honored as Teacher of the Year and Minority Teacher of the Year.
