About me
¡Hola! I'm a teacher educator and researcher working toward racial and linguistic justice. My research focuses on Latinx Spanish-English dual language teacher candidates. I examine their experiences with cultural and linguistic oppression, investigate whether their language ideologies evolve over time, and explore how these ideologies influence their bilingual teacher identity formation. As a teacher educator, my goal is to prepare critical educators for racial and linguistic justice in education.
