The presenter will review the WIDA K-5 Key Language Uses and break down the standards with examples, demonstrations, and interactive discussions for teachers to implement in their own work with K-5 Multilingual Learners. For example, using the format of Narrate, Argue, Explain, Inform to guide reading lesson plans, questioning strategies, and next steps for scaffolding writing.
