The presenter will review the WIDA K-5 Key Language Uses and break down the standards with examples, demonstrations, and interactive discussions for teachers to implement in their own work with K-5 Multilingual Learners. For example, using the format of Narrate, Argue, Explain, Inform to guide reading lesson plans, questioning strategies, and next steps for scaffolding writing. This presentation can apply to various K-5 Multilingual Learner Program models: Small-group/Pull-out, Push-in, Collaboration/Co-teaching
